A seamless blend of classic Vineyard charm and modern elegance, this full design/build project was a transformative renovation of a coastal retreat in Oak Bluffs. With a vision to preserve the cottage aesthetic while incorporating contemporary elements, TD Builders took on the challenge of demolishing half the home and replacing a significant portion of the foundation. The remaining structure underwent a full-scale renovation, featuring all-new Marvin windows and doors, including three expansive bifold doors that enhance the home's connection to the outdoors.

The renovation extended beyond the main house, introducing a new addition, a stunning pool, and expansive exterior decks, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. The home’s interior showcases paint-grade V-groove and nickel gap planking, complementing the random-width, light character-grade white oak flooring. The kitchen cabinetry was designed to match the flooring, bringing warmth and cohesion to the space, while a coffered ceiling in the living room adds depth and sophistication. Every detail, from the craftsmanship to the selection of high-end appliances, reflects the homeowners' discerning taste and hands-on involvement in the design process.

Additionally, the existing garage was removed and replaced with a Gambrel-style structure, featuring carriage doors leading into a thoughtfully designed garage and a spacious storage area above. The architectural details seamlessly echo those of the main house, ensuring a cohesive and timeless aesthetic.
